Jack Frost never had much cause to care about Cupid, that is, until Jamie is faced with a foe even more frightening than Pitch: his first crush. But Jack learns maybe some battles should be picked last for kickball when his 'casual' run-in with the patron spirit of Valentine's Day takes a slightly... destructive turn. Jack is used to some light continent hopping, but it's looking like to clean up this latest mess he'll have to travel just a tad farther than usual. A mandatory month-long vacation from Guardianship with a list of magical souvenirs to bring back? Sounds easy enough... Given a simple task and armed with the best travel guide a timeless being can offer, Jack isn't really anticipating any hiccups in the plan.

Jack has so much love in his life he thinks he could burst from it. Pop into blue and white confetti, pile miles of white, powdery joy onto Burgess, and there'd still be plenty left over for the rest of the winter world. He has Jamie, and he has Hiccup and Toothless, and he has the Guardians. He's more excited than ever to navigate whatever awaits him.
That is, until cold waters from Berk come back to haunt him. It's a fresh wound, an old storm, one he's uncertain he can weather unmoored. Lucky for him, Jack's no longer in short supply of anchors.

Summary
Hiccup's desperately trying to figure out what exactly is the deal with Burgess ever since he moved in. He keeps dreaming of a lake. Or more specifically, drowning in one. He knows there's a lake, but there are no photos, no maps to where this lake is. Hiccup knows it exists, because the other residences know about it too, but whenever he asks for details they seem to know nothing, baring a few exceptions, and Hiccup can't help but feel like he's going insane.
All of this, somehow, leads to him giving Jack Frost a four hour car ride. Jack, who's the center of all of this in one way or another.

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.
