Summary
Damian wasn’t stupid. He knew better than to speak when out of turn or bring up meaningless concerns to his father or the other members of the Wayne Family.
Grayson and Pennyworth were out of the question. Drake was an obvious no, being Damian’s sworn enemy. The entire point was to not show Father that Damian had any issues, so he was out of the question.
That left no on to ask about a question that had been bugging Damian since he had moved to America. Why did Bruce Wayne have a picture of JT, the man that serves Damian at his favourite shawarma place?

"I kill so others don't have to," Bruce states firmly and clearly. This entire situation didn't seem like it could get any more bizarre, what with Bruce sitting in the dark and polishing guns, but somehow it just has, "While you are here you will not kill."
Jason's throat is scratchy and dry with terror, but the insatiable feeling of being talked over and disregarded is a fresh wound. He can't back down from this if he tried, "I've killed. I still kill. Who the fuck do you think you are to stop me?"
Bruce gently sets down his gun, and picks up the blade beside him with practised ease. Jason's blood runs cold when the man wearing his father's face says, "You will die by my hand if you try."
(Jason meets a version of Bruce who has manifested his fears very differently.)

Tim furrowed his brows, felt a question bubble up in his throat, but then swallowed it back down when he heard an animalistic screech. Tim turned his head to the right, just in time to see a few servants parading a mangled looking creature, greasy-haired, filthy, and fierce-eyed. It had a chain collar wrapped around its neck, tugged at like a leash, and the creature barely had the strength to fight against it. It stumbled about with weak growls and warning hisses.
“My daughter’s failed heir,” Ra’s sighed as comprehension dawned upon Tim. “I thought to improve him.”
