Summary
Four years without seeing Chuuya left Dazai out of practice when it came to suppressing all those pesky things like attraction and desire. While helping him through an unnatural rut brought about by the power of Arahabaki wreaking painful changes within Chuuya's body, Dazai gets greedy enough to be obvious, and Chuuya calls him out on it. No longer able to keep up the lie that what they had didn't mean anything--or that he didn't want Chuuya as more than his dog--Dazai tries to re-learn how to desire things for himself as he and Chuuya begin clearing the air between them to see what they might become.
Present day chapters from Dazai's pov, alternating with chapters set during their time in the Port Mafia together from Chuuya's pov.
