Summary
Seoul has always had two stages: the one under neon, and the one underneath it.
In the present day, Rumi and HUNTR/X get yanked bodily into the underworld, where the fallout of Gwi-Ma’s stolen souls is not finished with them yet. Worse, Rumi’s blade is keeping a secret, and the underworld has started asking the kind of questions that do not come with polite answers.
In 1997, Sunlight Sisters idol Mi-Yeong Ryu is juggling fame, demon hunting, and a meeting with someone impossibly strange. Choices made in the spotlight, and in the dark, that will echo into her daughter’s future.

Summary

This alternate ending is told from Sarah's POV. We begin the morning of Ian's party, but in this version of the story, Nikki and Sarah never end up at that house. Instead, Sarah's uneasiness towards Nikki's and Bear's relationship leads her to investigate its origins.
