Spider has been captured by a group of RDA agents and kept at the mercy of the RDA for months. He has no idea of his father's clone's existence, and it's not until much later that Miles Quaritch happens to walk through the cells at Bridgehead, discovering a beaten, bruised and bloody boy in one of the final cells. They lock eyes before he reads the name on the door: Miles Socorro.
An AU where Spider is never captured by Quaritch, and neither is any the wiser of each other's existence until much later.

The Factory Ship is sinking, pulled closer towards the flux devil with every minute. Spider offers himself to Quaritch in exchange for Neytiri and Tuk's freedom, but what if Quaritch knew the offer was just a play for time? What if that night in the forest, Varang takes a little more interest in Spider? Instead of seeing him as an intriguing but useless human, she believes him to be a representation of all that Eywa holds dear. After all, why did the Great Mother choose to save him, but not any of her own people? It is clear Eywa has favourites, and Varang can't let that stand.
A canon divergent AU where Varang takes Spider back to the Ash Camp, Eywa's prize now in her possession. And she has plans for him. Will anybody be able to rescue Spider in time?
