He is thinking about things he will need to buy in LA (because it turns out that evenings are rather chilly and Ilya has only one hoodie and t-shirts) when Shane emerges from the bathroom in only a towel hanging precariously low on his hips. Ilya gets a bit cross-eyed with the view. The large expanse of the wet skin glistening in the dim light of the hall, the droplets sliding from the hair at the nape of the neck down to his collarbone, his perky nipples standing out on the tan skin, much darker than Ilya has ever seen - that's a lot to process at once for one fragile human being.
It's kind of a detective story.
Ilya works in the Russian department of Interpol, Shane is a talented thief, and they will save the world together. Somehow. Eventually.
