Summary
Once upon a time, Grace recalls being anxious, perpetually in a panic attack, heart thudding and pulse racing. Oxygen a difficult task her lungs are incapable of completing. She recalls the sensations of her fingers on the keys of a keyboard, the weight of glasses on her nose, the comfort of her chair. The taste of food now nameless and foreign, the feel of hot water on her aching muscles, the warmth of another human.
Or//: Grace is a bound experiment and Leon gets more than he bargained for.

The world spun. The table, the screen. Sickening headiness, dizzy—the well-known, well-trodden path of anxiety roaring to life within, a frightening deluge of overwhelming terror and fear; agony, sheer agony—ripping through her chest—
"Oh, god. Oh—god, no—no, no, no no nonono—"
Her sobbing came from someone else. It was someone else, some animal, making those sounds, this strange, inhumane wailing—

Summary
Grace can't allow herself to make assumptions about Leon. She's making way too many already, can't help but, and she can't encourage it. Leon is real. He's not some fantasy, he's not a character in a show, and he's not… he's not her hero. He's a married man, a government agent, and twenty four years her senior- there's nothing about him that she should have any business daydreaming about.
“Do you need my help, Grace?”
