Summary

Matt begins stalking and taunting Shiro, luring him into traps in an attempt to make him understand—understand what they could be together, and how Shiro’s rigid morality is, in Matt’s view, holding them both back. Each encounter forces Shiro to confront his unresolved feelings, his lingering attraction to Matt clashing violently with the horrors Matt continues to commit. Stiles stood rooted in the doorway, mouth dry, heart hammering against his ribs. He couldn't move. Couldn't speak. The scent wrapped around him like velvet, sweet and needy, making his own body respond in ways that felt suddenly, shockingly possible. A Beta could help an Omega in heat. Could fuck them deep and steady, ease the ache without the risk of locking inside, without the possibility of pregnancy. Biology that had always been a barrier with an Alpha was suddenly an open door.
Or Theo hides his true designation, and Stiles finds out.

Stiles noticed the silence. “Hey,” he said, softer now. “You okay?”
Theo swallowed hard, forcing the words out evenly. “Yeah. I’m fine.”
“Theo.”
He closed his eyes. “Nothing’s wrong,” he said, lying through his teeth. His voice was steady enough, he hoped. “You know I love you, right?”
There was silence on the other end. Just static and breathing. Then Stiles’s voice came back, sharper, worried. “Theo, what are you doing?”
Theo’s grip tightened on the phone. “Watching the stars.”

“That’s a violation,” Scott said firmly. “You know the deal. You can’t kill, Theo. That was the condition.”
Theo stopped dead, hand on the truck door. He turned his head just enough to glare over his shoulder. “Yeah, I know the damn condition.”
“Then you know what happens next,” Scott said quietly. “We have to send you back.”
Theo’s jaw clenched. His claws weren’t out, but the tension in his shoulders said they wanted to be. “You have no idea what happened out there.”
Stiles crossed his arms, still shaking from the cold, trying to bite back the bitter taste in his mouth. “Oh, I think we do. Eight wendigos dead. That’s the whole story.”
Theo spun, voice raw. “You weren’t the one being torn at from every direction! You weren’t—” He caught himself, chest rising and falling fast, then jabbed a finger toward Scott. “How about you ask your emissary what he would’ve done, huh? Ask the vet. Ask Deaton what he would’ve done surrounded by eight feral wendigos while trying to protect a useless. Fucking. HUMAN!”

The fucker spiked his drink.
Theo let out a low growl of annoyance. He was reluctantly impressed. It had been a while since anyone got the drop on him like that. Usually he felt the shift in the air or the change in scent or the wrongness of a touch before anything happened. But this guy had slipped right under his radar.
Too bad a regular roofie wouldn’t do much to him. At worst it would give him a headache and make him cranky. Theo lifted the glass again and drank anyway. He could always seek the man out later and kill him. No need to make a big deal about it here.

Summary
He’s in heaven. If nothing else, he’s now certain that he’s in heaven because there’s an angel in his sights, separated by glass, presumably so that Simon wouldn’t infect him with his humanity. The angel is the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen: eyes as blue as what he imagined ice to look like, hair as yellow as a cornfield. Lips...the angel’s lips look to be as soft as the leaf he’d stolen from the tree of Eden, when he was but a child.
The angel’s stare is fixed on Simon, and he realises that this must be a test from God, because Simon is undeserving of the attention of a being as lovely as the one in front of him. The one looking at him as if he were the miracle.
Simon sleeps and dreams of rough, tanned hands with no red beneath the fingernails. They caress his face, soft and gentle, travelling up to his hair and suddenly he’s underwater, breathing in blood, dying as angels sing beneath the surface, their crooked smiles bringing him peace.

Summary
Sometimes a person is connected to another through their dreams. They don’t always end up meeting in the waking world, but when they do the relationships vary greatly: some formed romantic bonds, some formed platonic bonds, and some would try to kill each other. Some people have claimed that they’re connected to someone from a different time, be they someone from the far future or a famous historical figure.
Ryland wasn’t sure he believed those claims. The person he was connected to clearly did, but Ryland was pretty sure he was making everything up. After all, Simon also claimed that all of the stars and planets were gone, which was just impossible.
