Summary
Alphas who got stuck as wolves were hunted down by their fellow werewolves to protect the rest of them from repercussions. That much was true. Their ability to wolf out at will threatened the balance of power within the packs, definitely not baseless.
But neither of these were real reason Alphas were shunned by packs. The real and far less known reason was that just as they were capable of shifting without a full moon, their wolves could take control while Alphas were human.
Unfortunately, Enid never got the chance to learn about this tidbit about herself before it landed her in a very tight spot.

Larissa hums and sits back in her seat. She looks to Wednesday. "And what do you think?"
"I think this is already a colossal waste of my time," Wednesday says.
She nods. "Your partner expresses concern in therapy and you view this as a waste of your time?"
Wednesday finally cuts her eyes to Larissa. "That isn’t what I said."
"Okay. What are you saying?"
