Summary
The Valyrian Gods turned their displeasure upon Viserys Targaryen when they realized the king had failed to heed the warning granted to him in dreams. Weak before fate and blinded by guilt, Viserys had failed to protect the blood of the dragon.
As punishment—and as a final attempt at salvation—the gods sent new visions to his heir, Rhaenyra Targaryen, revealing to her a future of betrayal, war, and ruin. Along with the dreams came a command, clear and unyielding:
Take control. Rewrite destiny. Save House Targaryen.
Now, amid prophecies of fire and choices that demand blood, Rhaenyra must prove herself worthy of Valyria’s legacy—not as a princess, but as a dragon.

Summary
One night, Valarr came to the conclusion it was his sweet brother's fault for every inconvenience in his love life. [...] It was Daeron’s fault that on the night of Daeron’s seven-and-tenth birthday, Valarr snuck into the maester’s chambers the night before, stole a concentrated vial of milk of the poppy, and poured it into Daeron’s goblet was left unattended when everyone was distracted. It was Daeron’s fault when Daeron inevitably started tiring, Valarr was tasked to bring Daeron to his chambers to put him to sleep. It is Daeron’s fault, not Valarr’s, that on that night, Valarr couldn’t hold back anymore, and lifted Daeron’s sleep shift and stared Daeron’s cunt and inevitably toyed with it. Out of fear, Valarr did not breach Daeron’s hole, not even with a finger, but that did not stop him from placing his mouth on the enthralling cunt in front of him. Yes, all of it was Daeron’s fault. And today, it is Daeron’s fault that Valarr cannot help himself no longer. Valarr is now twenty, and Daeron has been seven-and-ten for nine months now, and an omega for almost ten years. He has let his brother run about for far too long.

Daeron has always felt safe with Valarr, comforted by his presence alone... but nothing is certain in the mating run and sometimes, friends become enemies, allies become foes and cousin hunts cousin.

Summary
“Well. Look who’s finally risen from his drunken stupor.”
“Brother,” Daeron starts, his voice still so hoarse. He takes a hesitant step forward. “Love,” he says, for what is Aerion if not both? “Let me explain.”
A disastrous feast is held at the Keep in honor of their firstborn, and Daeron and Aerion deal with the aftermath the only way they know how- with anger and shame, and some love in between.
