    “You wouldn’t be thirsty if you had eaten along with everyone else.” Ego sighs, running a hand down his face. As if he was debating his next words lightly. “Or if you hadn’t been crying. It makes you dehydrated, you know.”

    Silence falls over the two for a moment. A moment too long actually.
