“How many dates is this?” Verity asks, idly. “At some point, don’t you have to start wondering if he’s the problem, not the dates.”
“Thank you for your input, Vee,” Mobius sighs. “Don’t you have some tables to check up on? Or...”
He loses his train of thought as the man at the table leans forward languidly like a cat, resting his elbows on the table and gifting his current date with a Cheshire smile. A finger decorated with two thin gold rings above the middle knuckle traces around the edge of the highball glass suggestively and a lock of raven’s wing black hair falls out of his stylishly messy top knot and across his face.
Mobius wonders why someone like that feels the need to work so hard for attention, but the guy in the polo shirt with the perfect teeth sitting across from him barely seems to appreciate it so maybe that’s why. Mobius sure as hell is having a hard time looking away. The slit in that skirt is probably going to kill him before the night is over.
OR
Mobius works at the bar that Loki brings all his first dates to. None of them go well. Maybe someone needs a shoulder to cry on?

AU. Evocative characterizations. Also, chapter 9 went GREAT. 😂 This story is VERY entertaining. 😄

The author knows how to write. Smoldering embers.
Also, I cannot stress enough how highly entertaining and riveting this writing is.One of my favorite long term AU novel fics. Like a therapy fic, so much growth happening. Love it.

Summary

Maybe life doesn't have to be so hard all the time. Maybe you get the help you ask for, if you're brave enough to ask.
Maybe love is finally being unable to unmask together.

Reading this fic is a bit like therapy. So much growth happening! I love them so much, they are communicating and taking care so well! This is a fic which accompanies me over the duration of a loooooong time and I can come back to it and read the next part, it is lovely and wonderful and so good. Very calming.

Summary
In 1347, a ship arrives bearing books and news from the east. Aziraphale, a Cistercian monk of Tintern Abbey, travels to collect his books. There he meets a lazy-hipped, red-haired sailor and has the strangest feeling that he knows Crowley, that they have met once. He just cannot remember at all.
