He feels himself start to shake his head before he realizes he’s doing it. “That- that isn’t necessary, sir.”
“My coven gets what they want, Namjoon-ssi. They want Jungkook. Jungkook wants you. Therefore, I will have you, as well,” he says as if it is that simple. It probably is to him.

“I get heat sickness,” he tried to explain, waving his free hand in front of him. “I just – I really like you, Jimin, and- and the pack. And I don’t want this to be any sort of problem.”
Jimin pulled Namjoon to a stop and looked him in the eye. Namjoon was looking down and biting his lip, his eyes glossy in a way that they normally weren’t. “What do you mean, hyung? Why would that be a problem?”
“It’s not-“ Namjoon took in a deep breath, finally looking up at Jimin and quickly back down. “It’s not fun, and I get- I get really sick. And I’ve courted other packs before, and it’s been a deal breaker.”

“There’s a boat!” Jonas yells to the plump man, pointing frantically behind them and waving to the others to come see. “Right there behind us!” Matteo shakes out some of the sleep behind his eyes and tries to see over the railing at what they all were crowding against it at one side to see, but he wasn’t able to see anything besides his fingers turning a little bit purple and puffy around his knuckles.
“Do you think it’s the prince?” Jonas asks.
“No, no, that would be inconceivable,” the leader says mostly to himself, and Matteo starts to wonder if he knows what that word means. Or maybe it was Matteo who didn’t know what it meant. Either way, someone wasn’t thinking of that word the right way.

David tells himself to keep it together, to keep his eyes on where Carlos was talking about something or other and where Jonas was nodding along to it a little bit over enthusiastically. He tells himself to not look over at the bar, to not look over at where Matteo was, to not look at the guy who was leaning a little bit too close into Matteo’s space for David’s liking. He tells himself to keep the lines of his face neutral, and nod along to the conversation, and not glare icily at the people in front of him because he had been trying all night to get along with them.

david starts university already spitting fire and willing to let everyone in his way know that. he walks into his first class with his teeth bared and his opinions written on the front of his shirt so that everyone knows right away he’s not the one they should be messing with; in that first class, he gets into two arguments, one of which the professor has to stop, and he ends up making a girl cry. he doesn’t regret it for a second.

David's 19th most popular video is an apartment tour with some of his friends and his sister screaming in the background the entire time. He was redecorating, so there was stuff thrown around everywhere with his walls half-painted and furniture pushed into the wrong places in most rooms. He doesn’t really think about it after he posts it. He only really made it because people were asking for it, and he wanted something easy to post for that week while he was still working on getting things back in order with his disheveled apartment and everything else. So he never even notices the comments.

“Show me your dick,” David repeats. He was laying on the bed on his stomach, watching Matteo like he was a four course meal ever since he came into the bedroom after his shower. David was looking over his emails before this, but he honestly couldn’t be too sure where his phone even was at this point. It could be on the floor, or still sitting next to him, or on fucking mars. He could not care less right now, with Matteo’s hair sticking to his forehead and his chest a little pink from the steam.

He could have sworn that Michael’s favorite color was purple, but he was also pretty sure that he overheard him telling Mama on the phone the other day that it was pink. Matteo didn’t even have a pink marker.

“I’m not wearing that,” Matteo said, maintaining a dull eye contact with David and not looking down at the jacket at all. He kept his hands firmly in his pockets, and David wanted to roll his eyes at the way Matteo has been a little bit bratty the entire day since they’ve gone out.
He frowned. “You said I could pick,” he said pushing the jacket into Matteo’s chest and and letting it go. Matteo could’ve been a dick and let it drop to the ground, but then David would frown at him for real and probably wouldn’t kiss him later with that little smile that said he was pleased. He caught the jacket and huffed out a breathe like it was the most daunting task in the world that David scrunched his nose up at.
