He meets another newcomer on the train, a muggleborn girl who was sent to France after her first burst of accidental magic. Where she lived with her relatives, that had some magic themselves. She transferred from Beauxbatons, to study Transfiguration and Charms at Hogwarts, subjects in which it still has a high reputation. She is intrigued by the charming Irish boy she meets on the train, and his rather weird ‘sister.’

This is a slightly edited version of an early story of mine I had posted on FFn. I did make a few corrections, a few changes to the flow and writing. But overall this is one of my classic ones which shows how far I have come since the early era.
The story is Harry and Hermione winding up adopting Ginny in their third year and becoming a family. The adults are not useless and in the end there is a happily ever after.
