“Oh, please!” Enid makes a broad sweep with her claw. “You look like a goddess, you’re powerful as fuck, you eat fear for fun. What else could you be?”
The glare softens into a mildly shocked stare. “Flattery will not save you.”
Enid Sinclair is equal parts terrified and enchanted with the National Park she works at. Especially after she befriends (?) one of its supernatural residents.

Enid shook her head and let out a prolonged sigh before deciding to entertain the question. Something strange happened, though, when she started to consider it. The most attractive girl at Nevermore. She didn’t know why, and she didn’t think she ever could explain why, and she would never explore what the cause of her obvious brain damage had been, but a clear image of the girl sitting silently to her left popped into Enid’s head. Wednesday Addams.

Summary
She likes to believe that it had been a completely mutual decision to go their separate ways, but she knows it wasn’t- not really. They had told their family and friends that it was something they both needed, but anyone watching would know better than that. Everything about those final months is one big blur. Mistake after mistake in a swirl of hurt and helplessness. Their marriage had simply been collateral damage, and Enid is still working on forgiving herself for it.
