The smirk Laurent gave him looked out of place on Damen’s face. “Yes, I suppose we should. Tell me, how are you so insufferably pleasant all the time?”

“I missed you,” Damen admitted, overwhelmed by the feeling. He pressed his lips to Laurent’s hip, the jut of it sharp and strong beneath his lips. Again, in Veretian, “I missed you.”
“Your accent is stronger,” Laurent said, tilting his head to the side as he studied Damen. “Your time in Ios was successful, I trust?”
“We can talk of Ios in the morning,” Damen told him as he kissed his way slowly up Laurent’s chest and up to his neck, lower lip dragging gently along the edge of his jaw until they were breathing the same air.

The kissing thing happened a few months after they all moved in together. Like most of their terrible ideas, it started with Niall and Louis.
They were drunk one night and Niall was whining about how all he wanted to do when he was drinking was find someone fit to snog. Louis had looked around the room and spread his arms going, “take your pick then, mate.” It had launched them all into an hour-long discussion about sexuality and identity (“Sexuality is fluid,” Harry kept repeating, zenlike.), and had ended in Louis and Niall snogging on the couch while the others cheered and wolf-whistled.
