A woman swooped in before Grogu was nearly dropped from a child’s grasp, a scolding on her lips as she held the child like he was precious to her.
Ah, Boba thought as he saw the minute shift of the beroya’s body.
“I wasn’t aware you had a lover.” Boba teased quietly as he took in the woman. She was beautiful, with long dark hair that fell over her shoulders and a care in her eyes as she pressed a kiss to the beroya’s child’s forehead. “No wonder you were so eager to be here.”
“We aren’t…” The beroya began, before cutting himself off as the woman made her way towards them. She had set Grogu down, the child hopping about with his playmates, and grinned widely, her eyes only on the beroya. “Omera,” the beroya seemed to breathe out as the woman stepped close to him. “Hi.”
