Suddenly, everything feels so big and overwhelming, as though he'd walked in on the whole world breaking apart when really, it's just his apartment and a bleeding, broken man sitting on his couch with the breeze coming in through the fire escape. And Peter is not a doctor--not a doctor--but he can throw a stitch and set a broken bone, and that seems good enough right now.

Stoic, sure — except Peter would actually call him an asshole, considering the last time Peter trapped him with his running mouth, Bucky held a hand up until Peter stuttered to a stop, then watched as Bucky walked away without another glance.
Hadn’t said a thing, but managed to crush Peter’s soul into actual dust.
Or, the one where Peter can't turn his brain off, but Bucky can.

Summary
In late 2012 when Shane has a meltdown and frantically tells them to call Lily, for the first time Yuna’s ever witnessed, Shane is coaxed out of one of them instead of just suffering through until the exhaustion wins out instead—and all by some mysterious, apparently very well attuned to Shane, 'Lily'.
She hadn’t meant to see the number before she’d pressed it and fumbled the phone up to Shane’s ear. It was simply a byproduct of the situation, something Shane had asked for her to do.
…Memorizing it and then texting that number to thank Lily for their help was not something she’d been asked to do. But she worries so much about Shane, and Lily is a reassurance. Not a pry for details but the simple, verifiable confirmation: he’s okay.
Lily, on the other hand, very much enjoys being able to make oddly specific 'your mother' jokes to Shane much more often now. (And maybe the whole family piece of it, too.)

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time to update.
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.
