During their extensive interview process, insecurities are unearthed, past wrongs are righted, and feelings ensue. H/D, R/H. Dialogue heavy, banter heavy. Minimal plot. Romantic but not overly fluffy (I hope).

Desperate yowling cut through the night, accompanied by infrequent clanging. Shouta paused on the rooftop he had been running across and tried to determine the direction of the sound. Most likely a stray cat or some other animal. Shouta liked cats, and to a lesser extent all animals, so he wasn’t about to just leave it struggling. The poor thing could be hurt.
Soon enough, he tracked the commotion to a street that was starkly unpopulated at this time of night. The noise originated from some vending machines next to a bus stop, lit up by the soft glow of a streetlight. Shouta raised an eyebrow at the small rear end sticking out of the little door that the snacks dropped down into. Was that… a toddler? Out here? At this hour?

“I pulled up a phone book, Ron,” Hermione explained. “A name and last name is all you need to find just about anybody with it. The chart just helped us narrow it down.”
Ron gave her an unimpressed look as he gingerly held a large yellow book. He handled it as if it would bite him if he moved it the wrong way. Harry was reminded uncomfortably of his Herbology book, dreadful thing it was.
“Muggles don't care about any sort of privacy do they?” Ron frowned.
Percy Jackson, the son of Sally Jackson and an unknown man. That’s all they could dig up, but when it comes out that he’s the grandson of Voldemort and he’s gone missing? It’s a race against time as the golden trio work against the forces to not only bring a missing child home - but to also stop a new dark-lord from rising.
