Summary
Brick is still stranded on Sabertooth Mountain, Vic and Oliver have escaped Forebode's Road (and some eerie secrets) only to fall straight back into Belligerwitch territory, and the rest of the Company seems to be having problems of its own. What was meant to be a quick rescue mission on the trio's part isn't exactly going smoothly.
It's also October, so anything goes.

“Let that wall alone,” Hardwick called for the tenth or eleventh time now.
The prisoner shook his head passionately and continued his work.
Joyce, the night guard, was standing nearby, brow raised and arms crossed. “And he’s been doing that all day, you say?” he asked, turning to his colleague.
“Since an hour or so after I came in,” Hardwick confirmed. “He’ll likely be at it until they take him away in the morning.” He stood from his chair and made a great show of offering it to Joyce.
Joyce grumbled and moved to take Hardwick’s place. “All the more interesting for me,” he replied despite himself as he sat. “You’ll be the man to have to re-plaster it tomorrow.”

Summary
Lewis sends Ransom off to Perelandra and waits for Oyarsa to tell him whether he’ll ever see his friend again. In the meantime, he carries on through a war and takes a few involuntary journeys of his own. But that’s nothing new.

Summary
"The Good Withstood and I told them, 'scatter to the winds.'"
The 59th had just gotten their Captain back when he ordered them to leave him again. Now they were spread out across the Central Southwest, finding their own way and stringing the Belligerwitch along with them. Vic, Rhodey, and Brickwall set their course eastward, toward the roots of the war, in hopes of finding a path to its close. But the 23rd is still a long way away, and the terrain sure isn't doing anyone any favors. Vic's still figuring out how to lead, Rhodey could go for some better equipment, and Brickwall just wants to make it back home.
Needless to say, they encounter a few issues.
