Deku shoved his arm in front of Katsuki’s face, and tapping on a particular freckle that looked almost teal in color, a large digital holo screen flickered to life. Katsuki smothered a strangled shout in his throat as he watched in muted horror as the screen hovered in front of his face, though the words on the screen were what really hit home.
“…Deku.”
The boy in question suddenly looked nervous. “I know, Kacchan.”
“…this screen says—"
“I know, Kacchan!”
Before Deku could yank the arm away from him in shame, Katsuki snatched his wrist. “Tell me this: why the fuck does your quirk say ‘My Plus Ultra Romance’?!”

So, as the detective took a giant gulp of his cold coffee, he can easily justify his reaction to the Pro’s words and the truth that pinged in his head as the man spoke them. “I am currently plotting a homicide.”
The detective spat the disgusting coffee all across his desk.
It was just supposed to be a normal goddamn Tuesday.

“Oh heavens no,” she chirped, waving him off like his suggestion, his fear, was silly. “We did not want to risk building animosity or tension between yourself and another program member. Besides, we do not need another one as of right now with how successful you have turned out.” Smiling proudly at him, she explained, “One of our trainers mentioned that during a session, you had expressed something very intriguing…You had said that you wished you had grown up with a little brother.”
Oh no.
“You took a child,” Hawks asked in a whisper, swallowing down his horror. “Just to act as a little brother for me.”
