Summary
I felt eyes on me and glanced over to find Kris’s gaze trained on the balm in my hands. They immediately looked away, a flush to their cheeks, once they noticed me looking.
“Oh, Kris? Is something wrong?”, I asked.
They froze, before pointing to it and asking:
“What’s that?”.
After years of quiet distance, a nervous and nostalgic Noelle visits Kris’s bedroom and offers to share her lip balm. Kris is insecure about their appearance, but with Noelle, they feel like they can be beautiful, too.
