Baby settled back in his seat, squeezing her knee pointedly again as he stretched his other arm out along the back of the seat. She pressed her head back against his bicep and felt the muscle flex as he shifted under her.
“Almost there,” he said, bland over the double entendre.
“Not anymore,” she huffed quietly, and saw Mystery smile faintly.
“Well, no,” Baby allowed, still light and casual. His fingers brushed Mystery’s hair back and nudged his hood away, exposing his neck, and stroked lightly over the pale skin there. Zoey watched, hypnotized by the motion of his slender fingers, and almost missed what he was saying. “But it should only be about another ten minutes. You can wait that long. Can't you?”

Grace has chosen to marry certified psychopath Titus Danforth to save her sister’s life. Things go from bad to worse when she’s informed the marriage must be consummated before sunrise or everybody dies—including both her and her sister as new admits to the family. Considering sunrise is less than an hour away, there’s not really much time to hash out the details. Grace is hopeful that her involvement ends there, but Titus isn’t going to let her off so easy. Now that he’s officially married, he can finally get cracking on all that family heir bullshit that his father never shut up about.
