Summary
Stiles Stilinski was not having a good day. It was supposed to be great, after all he just turned seventeen today, and yet here he is. Alone. Outside the arcade, because his best friend forgot why today is important, and decided to ditch him for his girlfriend. Just before he decides to go and try to have fun alone anyway, a guy that must be a supermodel face-plant right in front of him. So he does what anyone would he laughs till his sides hurt. Huh, today might not be so bad after all.
Derek Hale was not having a good day. Sometimes it just came with the territory of living in a house full of werewolves, where no one could find a quiet place. So when given the opportunity to join his sister shopping, for once he agrees. While out he catches a sent that was indescribable and so of course he follows it only to turn the corner and see the most beautiful person he’s ever laid eyes on. His wolf suddenly screams “MATE” in his head. And really, who wouldn’t that throw off balance? He can’t be blamed for falling right there. Well maybe today wasn’t so bad anyway.

The wolf’s head whipped around so fast, Stiles felt like he was watching The Exorcist.
Stiles wondered if he could just stand still enough to make the wolf think he was a tree. A very bright red and jean-clad tree. He doubted it, but one could hope.
He knew it was a lost cause when the wolf turned fully, lips pulled back from its sharp teeth—so very sharp, good fucking Lord!—and began walking towards Stiles.
“I didn’t see anything!” Stiles shouted, both hands out in front of himself and sweat instantly breaking out across his skin. “I swear to you! I didn’t see anything! I didn’t see anything! I won’t tell anyone! I won’t! I’ll keep this to myself, until the day I die! I promise! I promise!”

Summary
The Alpha grinned - amused at how adorable Stiles was when he was angry - before crossing the room and taking a seat at the foot of the bed. He thought about how long he’d been waiting for an opportunity like this and finally decided to take advantage after all these years. It was time to give his wolf a taste of having Stiles in his den.
“There’s nothing wrong with my heater.”
“Gee! Thanks for rubbing it in, Jerkwolf.”
Derek rolled his eyes and tried again, hoping this time the point wouldn’t fly over Stiles’ head.
“I meant, you could stay with me.”
“Oh.”
