Arthur had never been so glad to hear the clank of the elevator door shutting. He stumbled to the side wall, slumping against it as he tried to catch his breath. He was safe. Except he shouldn’t have even been in danger in the first place. He was in a educational centre for children, but—but—

If asked to describe Dandy, Arthur probably would’ve said he was friendly, or energetic, or adventurous, and he would know, he wrote the guy after all. Never in a million years would he have considered him to be aggressive.But when faced with the twisted truth just an elevator door away, Arthur is forced to reckon with the fact that Dandy’s aggression may not be as out of character as he’d intended. Maybe there’s more of him in Dandy than he thought.
