Sunday’s knees ached from where he sat kneeling before the other man, who perched upon the bed. Both were in similar states of undress, all that remained on either of them being their pants—and bandages, in Blade’s case, having just spent an extended period of time ravaging one another with their mouths; Sunday’s still ached, and Blade’s were noticeably red and kiss-bitten still. Now, a stiff and calloused hand rested softly on Sunday’s head, gently carding through the thick hair of his scalp.
“..Are you sure about this?”
Sunday looked up at Blade, noting the hesitance in his candlelit eyes, though the hesitance wasn’t borne of reluctance; Blade knew of Sunday’s inexperience in these matters, and was only concerned if Sunday could handle it. The halovian was determined, though, which showed in his golden gaze. “I want to do this,” he started. “Unless you’ve changed your mind?” Sunday’s tone took on a teasing air in his question, and his wings fluttered in satisfaction at the light blush it brought to the tips of Blade’s ears. Sunday found it charming. Cute, even.
Blade hesitated for a moment, before responding. “..I never said that.”

Sunday's eyes are fixed on the piano. He can't explain why, but something about it is captivating.
It's been a very long time since Sunday's played piano.
"Uh, Passenger Sunday?" the Conductor repeats, and Sunday blinks, stiffening as he glances down to meet their eyes, widened slightly in expectation.
"I - sorry," he stammers, clasping his hands together before him in an effort to keep him from tugging his feathers. "I was just - I didn't know there was a piano aboard the Express."
Pom-Pom glances back at it, a small sigh leaving their lips. "Ah, yes," they say, shaking their head. "That old thing... it belonged to Akivili, many years ago."
They say this in the same tone one might say we found it on the side of the road amongst the trash and not this instrument belonged to the long-dead Aeon of the Trailblaze.
The crew of the Astral Express, as Sunday quickly learns, love music.
Or: five times Sunday played piano for a Nameless, and once he played for someone else.
