“Scabbers? Scabbers!” The kid called, voice shrouded in anxiety.
He turned to the patrons closest to him, asking if they had seen a rat. Remus scoffed into his bowl, shovelling in another bite. It was the Leaky, there were rats running all over the place.
Remus Lupin may think that luck is not on his side, and never has been, and it really does seem that way. But as it turns out, his luck does eventually make an appearance, when it’s needed the most. But first, he has to get through an entire year of facing ghosts from his past that he's spent years trying to forget, all while putting up with an old enemy-turned-coworker who is constantly testing his last nerve.
