Summary
Vox is kicked from Vee tower for a mandatory stay at the Hotel while Val and Vel figure out if they still want to kill him. Lucifer is assigned to watch Vox after he tries to kill himself only days after joining the hotel. Vox's depressed state is quite annoying for Alastor, while Lucifer is happy to have someone to relate to.

Summary
Charlie is in her own little world, not realising the silent conversation going on between the other two in the room. Neither had broken eye contact; it’s a silent competition, a game. One player demanding obedience and dominance, the other only giving defiance and entitlement.
‘Spoiled fucking brat.’ Vox murmurs, soft enough that Charlie doesn't hear, but he annunciates it enough that Lucifer gets every word. The little angel's smirk grows wider, finding satisfaction every time he digs further under the demon's skin. This is all to avoid the fact that Lucifer felt a heat building within his body every time Vox set those sharp, piercing eyes on him, commanding both authority and submission. Two things Lucifer will never give him the satisfaction of receiving, never again, not after that rally.
That type of tension between the two was something the pair desperately tried to ignore.

“Show me.” The words were out of his mouth without his consent, and he immediately cursed himself.
Lucifer blinked dumbly at him. “What?”
