Summary
After Zhongli leaves his position as the Geo Archon, he quickly realizes that the citizens of Liyue are hardly capable of taking care of themselves, let alone a nation. He finds himself left with one option: to bring an end to Liyue.
Childe was sent to Liyue by the Tsaritsa with explicit instructions to follow involving Zhongli’s plans. When he meets Zhongli, he is quick to promise to help him fulfill his plan, even if in the end, it could cost him his life.
Through all of the trials that they endure, neither of the men expected that the feelings between them would spark and cause even more chaos to be dealt with. However, both of them are carrying a secret that the other cannot know about. They must hope that their plans turn out as expected, otherwise, who knows what might happen.
