Summary
Tyler Joseph is a single dad with a southern accent who lives in apartment 1B in a small town outside of Ohio. He’s been divorced for two years and shares custody of his two girls.
Josh dun works at a record store who lives in apartment 2B. He’s only dated once in high school and doesn’t have many friends and thinks the government is hiding aliens in Area 51.
One day Josh finds a toddlers toy outside his door, and it’s only logical to assume it belongs to the only parent on the floor. But, well, Josh has never spoken to him before.

Summary
He leans back, arms still pulled tight behind Joshs neck, so he drags him down with him, and Josh straddles him immediately, deepening the kiss with leaning into Tyler more.
Josh grins into the kiss. “This is what you missed?” Tyler just nods, tracing one of his hands from the drummer’s neck down his chest, to his hips where the white shorts hang way lower than they need to, never fully breaking the kiss.

Summary
They hadn’t done this in a while, not with Tyler’s self-confinement. Tour had been finger-fucks and blowjobs ‘cause they weren’t getting any younger these days and Josh had the strength and stamina to fuck him through the mattress with a ferocity that was becoming increasingly harder to bounce back from.

Summary
Tyler was not one to challenge the familiar.
He didn’t think it was necessary, to break the routine—not when the routine was what kept him going. He clocked into his job, smiled at co-workers and customers, drove home with the music as loud as he could handle it. He gave his mom a kiss as he walked through the front door. Prayers around the dinner table, his father’s low, rumbling voice leading them all through held hands and amens. No, Tyler did not challenge the familiar.
His days blurred together this way—he moved through them like it was second nature. Work during the week, off on the weekends, church on Sunday. Knees touching tile, eyes closed, prayers to God.
"Just give me a reason to stay."
He opened his eyes, still on his knees, looking up at the ceiling. He tried to see through it, to somehow come face to face with God. The ceiling remained, as sure as the cold tile beneath his knees. No one was listening to him. No one was coming to save him. No one ever had before.
Tyler didn't anticipate the reason he was searching for to come in the shape of a boy with blue hair and a grin.
