Tanjiro heard his mother respond with a growl of his own. "I'm not going anywhere without a fight. Kibutsuji and his lackeys will figure that out quickly."
"With all of us fighting side by side, it'll be way harder to capture or kill any of us," Tanjiro chimed in. "Right? I mean, three Hashira working together? Dangerous, huh?"
Mama paused, then nodded. "Indeed. As long as we have each other, and we help watch one another's backs, we should be fine."
Tanjiro grinned as his father stepped closer, puffing out his chest a bit. "Yes. We won't make it easy for any of them to lay a hand on us. Now come on, let's go!"
The alpha quickly dashed down the hall, Tanjiro and his mother hot on his heels.
As long as they were together, no demon that stood in their way would last long!

Inosuke grumbled, hopping down and sitting on the edge of the bed. "Come on, Mama Giyuu. You're no fun."
Mama finally walked into view, a mildly amused expression on his face.
"I don't need to be fun," he said, finally turning to look at Tanjiro. "You're awake..."
Tanjiro began keening before he could stop himself, tears welling in his eyes as he reached out with both arms. He didn't care about sounding like a tiny pup at the age of fifteen. He just wanted his mama.

A deep, menacing noise filled the air. The self-proclaimed 'Uncle Tengen' barely had any time to curse himself before Aoi and Naho were safely on the ground, and he found himself pinned to the rocky path.
"I'm going to give you ten seconds," their savior, who Tanjiro recognized as his and his siblings' Mama, spat. "That should be plenty of time to think of an explanation for this, Uzui."
Tanjiro sucked in a breath. He knew he recognized the man. He was one of the Hashira at the trial. He voted to kill Nezuko!
Uzui put on a fearful smile. "Come on, Tomioka! I messed up, I get it! I didn't mean to hurt your babies! I just need female Corps Members for a mission and- ACK!"
The Water Hashira tightened his grip on the alpha's throat. "So you chose kidnapping? Do you know what Shinobu would say?"
OR: Giyuu joined the Kamaboko Squad as Uzui Tengen takes them to the Entertainment District. What could go wrong? (Spoilers: Everything!)
