"Their main function is to dispose of threats to their controller swiftly and thoroughly," Nefer chuckled. "I promise you, they won't be gentle. Now, do go ahead and put on a nice performance. I tend to get work done quicker with something soothing to listen to."
Nefer gets swamped with work at the Curatorium, her evening plans completely slipping her mind. However, she has just the technique to address both matters.

As Navia's fingers reached the tip of Clorinde's collarbone, she feigned a disappointed sigh. Her other hand rose to the dark blue band wrapped around Clorinde's neck, now visible with her top pulled down. She slid a finger into the silver loop that rested at its front, giving the collar a light tug.
"You know," she said in a hushed voice, drastically different from the tone she had spoke in but a minute prior. "If I didn't know any better I'd think that you'd forgotten what this means." The hand on Clorinde's skin gently rubbed circles, occasionally pressing the nail in for added effect. "But surely that's not right, is it?"
After suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of her partner, Navia makes sure to win round two.

“You said so yourself that it was just a misunderstanding, did you not?” Clorinde shifts in her seat, “Plus, didn’t you just say she's your final hurdle?”
Furina breathes out, “I know, I know, I did, but she still gives me nightmares!”
“Don’t you think getting to know her might fix that?” Navia tilts her head.
Furina goes silent, running through every possible scenario in her head. On one side, she can finally heal the last of her wounds. On the other hand, death, though very unlikely. After some deep consideration and many mental battles, she slowly nods. “I know it would be for the better…”

“Archon’s, Peruere, you’re really stretching me out!” She breathes a shaking breath as a quiet moan escapes her lips.
With a soft chuckle, Peruere speaks, pushing in deeper, “Careful now, I'm only halfway in.”

Kainé rolled her eyes, then sat on the ground to sort through the mess of crunchy leaves. “This is antidotal weed. It’s good for curing common types of poison. Spider bites, scorpion stings. I don’t know how it works, I just know that’s what it does.”
“Oh.” Nier perked up. “We should definitely hold onto that, then.”
Weiss still seemed uneasy. “Something tells me that isn’t the only reason she expressed an interest in it…”

Summary
Sandrone retells the story she has explained thrice by now; the backup plan in Fontaine, the blueprints updated after her interactions with the Wanderer, Master Albedo, and the witches of the Hexenzirkel, the important nature of her core, and all the instructions a robot can give to be rebuilt over and over again if needed. Lauma listens, and listens, and the sun setting behind her gives the warmth in her eyes a certain spark that makes Sandrone feel as if she could remotely understand what dying and reviving by her own hand feels like.
“It pleases me to hear of your success,” Lauma says, when Sandrone runs out of things to explain. “Nod-Krai welcomes you back again, for as long as you may need. Though I suppose you came here with a goal in mind?”
In the aftermath of her rebirth, with Columbina dragging her along into a mission to get Lauma and Nefer to fix whatever is keeping them apart, Sandrone finds that what comes after death and learning to live again is an odd thing indeed.

Lumine is gravely injured in a battle against an abyss herald, losing her right arm in the process.
Left broken and weak, She struggles to adapt to her new body and its limitations despite Paimon's aid. She will need to rebuild her strength in spite of everything she has been through, and She will need to relearn everything she thought she knew about herself, one step at at time.
Lumine is no longer capable of wielding a sword, and she will have to learn how to rely on other people, to ask for help,even if she cannot bring herself say the words aloud.
(I wasn't super fond of the Summary, so I rewrote it again for chapter 9)

Drops of blood flowed like rain in barren land, the promise of renewal and vitality imbued within them. Silver met brown as her blood mingled with Nefer's own. The blood dried in patches along Nefer's lower eyelid and cheek, the colour of rust - shiny, but faded. Nefer shuddered as the blood continued to drip but she remained still. She fought the tremors in her body and summoned every last ounce of energy to stay steady.
After the battle against Rerir, Nefer is left blind and dependent on Lauma’s care for her recovery. The event pulls the two women together, compelling them to face the undeniable closeness that neither can easily dismiss. As vulnerability slips through the cracks of the walls they've built between them, they find themselves drawn to each other in ways they thought had faded with time.

The first time the notion of a future with Jean popped into Mona's head – the thought of living together, shopping together, marriage – she'd squashed it immediately. The thought was ridiculous. Everything about her time with Jean had been ridiculous. A slim, fragile thread of fate had carried her to this absurd present where her life was intertwined with someone like Jean.
She would not dare test the strength of that thread by daydreaming of the future. The thread was so fragile, the path so narrow – what if Mona peeked, even accidentally? What if she tried to nudge their relationship in one direction or another, through even the most innocuous action, if she had even a subconscious sense of their destiny? The thought of crossing the stars and destroying what they had kept her awake, and she resolved to banish all thoughts of their future from her mind.
It was the only way to be safe.

was it something i wore? hoodies and jeans was that somehow too revealing? or maybe it was just me. me being there. me existing in the wrong place at the wrong time. maybe that’s all it took. maybe i made it happen just by being there. i saw the signs, didn’t i? i stayed. i stayed and smiled and pretended it was fine until it wasn’t. so how can it not be my fault?
i don’t even know who i am anymore. i keep looking in the mirror and wondering if anyone else can see it. the stain of it on me. i keep scrubbing, but it won’t come off. i keep thinking if i could just go back, just one second before it happened, i’d be braver this time. i’d say no. i’d scream. i’d stop you. but i didn’t. and i can’t. and now i have to live with this forever.
