Summary
After nearly losing Wolfwood, Vash is spooked beyond reason to let him out of his sight. He expected Wolfwood to be irritated with his constant hovering, but is caught off guard when he's met with little more than weak protests before he resigns that his personal space has become shared. Vash had never dotted on someone so intensely, let alone someone he expected to put up a fight over it.
Maybe this meant Wolfwood was softening to his company.
Takes place within episode 9 during the period where Livio has left to get help from Home.

Summary
He shut himself in the bathroom, when Rem and Knives were asleep. He'd wanted to see what caused that look on her face. Staring into the mirror, Vash opened his jaw wide, and immediately realised the problem: his canines had grown in, seemingly overnight.
They were longer than Rem's, than any of the humans' he'd seen in the sleep pods. They jutted out from the rest of his teeth, tapering down to a fine point which threatened to brush his lower lip. Wolf-like. A predator's jaw.
Vash didn't smile with all his teeth after that.
In which Vash reckons with his instincts.

Summary
This is easy. This part of the after. Conversations that don’t mean anything. Conversations about bad smut and the garden that’s failed, because neither Vash nor Wolfwood have the ability to keep even hearty things alive in the climate. Talking about Wolfwood’s troublesome motorcycle or Milly and Meryl’s latest front page story. All easy and palletable. Frustratingly empty and Wolfwood feels himself losing Vash with each of these conversations.
“Vash.”
Vash’s eyes darken immediately. “Hm?”
“We should go somewhere."
“Go somewhere?”
“Sure. Why not?”
“Why so?”
Wolfwood came prepared for this. If he tells Vash that he’s worried Vash is withering away here in this house, that Wolfwood misses his spark, his life, that Wolfwood can’t bear how little he can help him, then Vash will find a way to dismiss it. Talk around it, laugh it off and tell Wolfwood to go visit Livio in November or join Midvalley when he travels.
“You’ve been all over the place, yeah?”
Vash’s mouth purses lightly. “Sure.”
“Well I sure as shit haven’t, you should take me somewhere.”
Or Vash and Wolfwood heal in the aftermath of Knives one destination at a time.

Summary
A storm brewed six feet under. The snap of lightning muffled his hearing — or was it the feathers that surrounded him and filled his lungs? His eyes burned with tears as he gagged on them, keratin points scraping his throat raw.
Unable to breathe, unable to see, unable to hear, his muscles screamed as he clawed blindly through dust and grit. His body felt as if it was turning to stone as it begged for air. Heat painfully kissed his skin as he broke through the sand, light blinding him. He was grateful for all of it, even as his body seized and he retched plumes and sand.
His fingers triumphantly ripped through dust after he drank in his first breath between violent gags. He couldn't help the way the corners of his mouth twitched upward.
Nicholas D. Wolfwood was going to survive.

Summary
No matter how hard Qifrey tried to hide it, Olruggio always managed to uncover his secret, exposing his sorrows for his beautiful blue eyes to see.
Sometimes they hugged in silence, sometimes they kissed and held each other like the world was going to end if they let go.
But no matter how many times the cycle of torture repeated, Qifrey always ended up pulling that stupid spell out of his pocket and erasing Olruggio’s memory, reversing their relationship back to the same uncertainty that threatened to drown him if he let his guard down.
Qifrey didn’t know what else to do to stop falling for temptation.
