Summary

“I would do it for you, you know”, is all John says and it takes a moment for Bucky to figure out what he means by it, but his eyes still narrow anyway.
“What?”, Bucky asks because Walker better not be talking about what Bucky thinks he’s talking about or else he’s about to get in the other man’s face.
“Be him”, Walker answers him like what they’re talking about is so casual that he doesn’t really have to think about what he’s saying to Bucky. Bucky thinks he’s insane.
He doesn’t want to have this conversation. Ever.
