“You really think you can trust him?”
Scarlet’s grip tightened on the gun, and his brows furrowed. This wasn’t how he’d expected the confrontation to go, but it gave him hope that he was getting through after all. “I’ve got to.”
He noticed the moment Adam started to hesitate. The blue pistol dipped slightly before it was finally lowered, but not yet holstered. Adam then remained silent, seeming to think something over before he straightened his shoulders and gave a decisive nod like he’d decided. “Okay, then I’m coming with you.”
For a moment, Scarlet could only stare at Blue before finally getting out a choked “What?”
“I trust you, Paul,” Adam began to explain, still never looking away from the other man, “and if you think there’s a chance to destroy the Mysterons, then I want in.”
(A rewrite of series 2 episode 13 “Dominion,” in which Blue goes to Mars to help destroy the Mysterons)

The next morning, Scarlet seeks out Blue and has quite a bit of explaining to do.

Summary
Caine’s Bubble-popping office crashout is instead a breakthrough, and he comes out of it deciding that instead of torturing and getting revenge on his guests, he is going to do whatever he can to earn their approval. Even if it means doing things that actively take up too much RAM for him to handle, like leaving their favorite adventures open all the time or giving them all special abilities or letting them all customize their models, etc. This leads to… a very glitchy, exhausted, and ready-to-collapse Caine, and his only hope is that the others realize what they’re doing to him before it’s too late.

He often felt pinned by Henry’s eyes on him. He could brush off the feeling usually, telling himself it was just discomfort at the familiarity Henry took up with everyone he met.
Usually, but not now. Not with a missing kid and a wife who didn’t...who didn’t want...
“Whatever I need?” he breathed out, stomach swooping again.
“Of course, Darryl, anything,” Henry said, and before he could stop himself, Darryl leaned forward and kissed him.

“It has come to my attention that you all think my job is easy.” Caine stated abruptly while crossing his arms, prompting pause from the group. “But it’s not! Trying to please every one of you is a difficult task, one that I don’t think you all appreciate.”
“So for today’s adventure,” Caine materialized his cane with a dramatic spin, pointing at the cast. “One of YOU will be the ringmaster, and will come up with an adventure for everyone else to enjoy!”
Everyone looked uneasy at the idea, glancing between each other nervously.

Summary
Twelve hours. Tick, tick. Adam squeezes hard, like he can get the blood flowing from his grip and kickstart the beating of Paul’s heart. It doesn’t work, it’s as useless as desperate field CPR, and he breathes out slowly as he lays his forehead against the edge of the mattress.
If only his hand could pull Paul back from the dead, could wrench him from the chilling grip of the Mysterons and this endless curse. His heart aches with the desire to take some of the pain of this all away from his friend, to squeeze his hand and let them share it. If he could, he’d reach straight into Paul’s soul and hold on as he was being pieced back together so he could give him a piece of himself to share the agony of it.
How many more times could his body do this?
Adam struggles with Paul's indestructibility. No matter how many times he dies, he always comes back, but surely that ability has to run out. Doesn't it?
