It’s that or throw himself at Eddie. That or wrap his arms around his neck and slot his body into his and grind himself against him so he can feel the slick, warm wetness of his arousal through both their clothes.

“Ok…well, can I give you a ride to wherever you are living?” Cogs are turning in Eddie’s mind, trying to piece together just what in the hell had happened to King Steve in the months since he’d seen him.
Steve doesn’t answer. There’s tear tracks on his cheeks, Eddie notices, and the dark shadow of a bruise blooming behind them.
His alpha bristles.
Eddie leans in close. Slowly, so as not to freak the omega out even more. “Someone put their hands on you, sweetheart?”

Summary
Being the only pediatrician in the hospital without a Mate or pups meant that Steve Harrington always volunteered to work Christmas Eve into Christmas. And although he and his inner Omega wished for that to change and to start his family, he made sure to help the patients and their families on the ward have the Merriest Christmas possible, even when stuck in the hospital.

“Speak for yourself, Munson.” Steve nervously stroked the honey-velvet ears that poked almost seamlessly from his hair. He quietly knew they looked as good on him as they could on any poor 'Hot-Bunny Beans' worker cursed with wearing them. Apart from maybe Eddie. “I honestly figured you’d look more of a freak in those things than you actually do.”
“I don’t look like a freak?” Eddie slammed his palms to his heart and collapsed back against the barista machine as if he’d been shot. Steve giggled madly. “You wound me, my rookie bun-bun! Hey, much as I’m loving our chit-chat, we gotta get this machine cranked up. Chop chop.”'
