Summary
Albus had made the best tea, Gellert remembered. It had the most intoxicating smell. Above the astringency of the tea itself, a series of scents asserted themselves in a bouquet that Gellert had been unable to replicate, in all the long years apart from Albus. True, sugar and lemon was easy enough, though Gellert had oddly never seen a lemon on Albus’s tea tray. Slightly more unusual were the scents of the blackberries that grew in the Dumbledore’s back garden and that Albus ate by the handful, the roses that grew on the trellis under Albus’s bedroom window, the rosemary that Albus added to the water in which he boiled his bedsheets. Inexplicably, the tea had been made no less appealing by the odd notes of fresh spilled blood and an acrid, not-entirely-unpleasant smell that Gellert could not identify until Albus had spirited him away to an empty barn on the outskirts of the little town – fresh hay and sawdust and animal sweat and old manure.
If Gellert had ever thought to tell Albus what he smelled in his tea, would Albus have known what it meant? Would he have realized that he need never have dosed Gellert at all?

Summary

While on a mission to help improve her image among the organization, she uncovers a plot to usurp Targaryen control of weapons dealing on the black market. With help from the Commander of the Goldcloaks, Harwin Strong, Rhaenyra must stop their rivals from taking her position before she ever has a chance to prove to Westeros that she is worthy of becoming the head of the Targaryen Mafia.

Will Shakespeare doesn’t hate people. He’s a pacifist, for God’s sake! And, really, there are so many pompous prats at Cambridge University he could hate, that he’d run the risk of exhausting himself, if he genuinely tried to.
Of course, there is always an exception to the rule.Will’s exception is Christopher Marlowe. Arrogant, admired, well-dressed, well-to-do, and a poet in the making, Will hates him with the fire of a thousand suns - figuratively speaking, of course. (And then, he also kind of wants to kiss him. Which makes things a bit more complicated than need be.)
