Summary
Peter was only four years old when he was taken — torn from a life he never had the chance to remember. Raised by Steve Rogers and Tony Stark as if he were their son, he learned to call his kidnappers “Dad” — and to love them unconditionally.
Ten years later, now a bright and obedient teenager, Peter leads an apparently normal life. Until a simple school project sets off a chain of revelations that unravels the web of lies behind his existence.
Torn between the conditional love he received and the brutal truth of who he really is, Peter must face the weight of a stolen past, the impact of years of manipulation, and the deep — and dangerous — bonds that still tie him to the men who raised him.

Summary
“Come over for dinner,” House says, poking Wilson with his cane. Wilson sighs, shaking his head.
"I can’t tonight, I’m busy,” he says, dragging his pen half-heartedly over a paper to lazily sign it.
"Busy with what?” House asks, incredulous. “Hosting a party in that shitty hotel room of yours? Got early reservations at the continental breakfast tomorrow?” Planning your suicide?
--
In which Wilson is suicidal, and House isn’t willing to let his best friend go. Enter Operation: Figure Out What The Fuck Is Wrong With James Wilson Before He Shoots Himself In The Head, in which his primary goal is to observe one James Wilson as closely as possible, determine the cause of Wilson’s suicidality, and remove it.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Operation FOWTFIWWJWBHSHITH (conveniently shortened to Operation: WTF) does not go spectacularly.

Summary
Rosh Hashanah is supposed to be a celebration, a day to contemplate the great things a new year has to offer. Well, Wilson is pretty sure there will be no great things for him. Not that he'd deserve them, anyway. He is therefore content to just pretend it's a normal day.
House, bizarrely, is not. -

Summary
James Wilson can't handle misery of his recently deceased Amber, the grief becoming too much to handle, too much of a burden to experience. Amber was the one woman he felt was perfect for him, the one woman that fulfilled the gap that all the others had been unsuccessful to do. He couldn't go on without her. He couldn't find the hope to ever have love like that again. He couldn't live the life he had dreamed with her. He had to join her.

Summary
James Wilson always carries something. Grief, guilt, the weight of everyone else’s survival. But when he stops carrying himself, no one notices until it’s almost too late.
The thing about sickness of the mind is that it never actually leaves you, not truly.
It can dim, disguise itself, and blend into the neat edges of routine. With enough smiles and enough tasks—enough people to care for—it even looks like healing. But James Wilson knows better than anyone: it doesn’t vanish. It waits.
Sometimes, it waits so long and so quietly that you forget it was ever there.
Until you stop. Until one morning, you forget to put the armour on — and suddenly, it slips right back in, like it never left.eBookmarked by Trombone_4Life

Summary
But the image of Wilson eating the garden, the morning sun on his aged face, the wind in his fully gray hair, and the smile, on his cracked, ever so slightly cyanotic lips, is enough. It has to be. It is time with Wilson.
They got five months. Then they got two weeks. Now they have one day.

On Wilson's final day, House gets stuck in a time loop.

Summary
Wilson pours a bit of slip, clay and water mixed, onto House’s hands. He grabs one of House’s hands, quickly and gently, like he’s guiding a med student during their first rotation, and positions it against the clay, pinching House’s fingers around the clay to add to the height of the structure.
“Keep the sponge against the side of the clay,” Wilson says, placing the sponge in House’s hand and pressing it softly against the clay. “Try to widen a little instead of just making it taller.”
House hangs onto Wilson’s every word, following every instruction he gives to the letter. He is clay in Wilson’s hands.

Summary
“I’m still here, House,” she said quietly. “Whether you like it or not.”
He exhaled sharply and threw an arm over his face.
“Perfect,” he mumbled. “My imaginary shrink is also my imaginary morality guide. What next? You start narrating my inner monologue while I ogle Wilson’s arms?”
Amber said nothing.
But the smirk on her face was unmistakable.

How do you tell a dog from an SAS sergeant?
Soap's been trying to think of a punchline, but so far, all he's got is a dog’s gotta shit in the woods and bury it slightly more often than an SAS Sergeant.

Summary
“That’s really smart and intuitive of you. These activities are not meant to be followed exactly because people think through and process things differently. It sounds like you’re a very visual and tactile person, so you found a way to make it work for you. I’m really glad you kept trying and didn’t give up, though that would have been fine as well.”
“Mmthanks” Soap mumbles and moves back to fully sit in his chair. He is definitely not thinking about the ways Simon is visual and tactile as well.
Simon hands Soap his journal and waits for Soap to say anything more. Which he doesn’t because he can’t because Simon has said things to him that no one has ever said. It’s the opposite of his nightmare from last week. He’s sitting in the office of someone who would’ve been his superior if they were still enlisted and he’s being told he’s talented and intuitive like it’s nothing. But it’s not nothing. It’s everything.
~~
Three months after being medically discharged, Soap is feeling aimless and in need of support. He goes to his local Veterans Association and meets with social worker Simon Riley, who helps him find a new way forward

Summary
He sighed defeatedly, dragging a hand down his face in exhaustion. He needed to get a grip on himself, there was no chance he’d act like this in front of Stanley. Especially when he next sees the man.
And why was that?
Because the Narrator finally gathered the courage to ask one simple, yet very important question to his lover. A question the shorter man had just recently grown confident to even dare think about.
He was going to ask Stanley for his hand in marriage.
And he was going to do it tonight.
(Or: stanarrator being sickeningly in love with each other. That’s it that’s the fic (or is it?))
