Said a voice from off to the side. There was silence for a moment, followed by "You did add stabilizers, right?"
Purah clicked her fingers. "Snap! I knew I was missing something! Thanks!" She called, turning to the mini-guardian to continue her project.
Zelda was confused, she hadn't heard that voice before. Maybe a new assistant?
Her eyes scanned the room but she found nothing but her knight, Link, standing sentry as always. With a rather odd expression on his face.
Who just called that out?
WAIT.
Or: Fluffy oneshot at Link randomly contributing to a scientific debate and Zelda realizing her knight has a personality behind the guise after all.

Summary
Royal Knight Link Hallowell, Champion of Hyrule, was the most curious of creatures. Since being assigned as Princess Zelda’s personal knight, Sir Link was never seen without the Master Sword, either strapped securely to his back, or firm in his grasp, blade out and ready.
It was unnerving how her rage against him due to her father’s orders dulled to indifference, to concern. Zelda could not name a time she had seen any emotion on her knight’s face. Not when he was reprimanded in front of his entire squadron (oh, how Zelda loathed her father), not when he won spar after spar against the other soldiers, not even when he was given a whole week off duty to visit his family. It was as if he was made of technology, created without emotion.
However, Zelda knew he couldn’t be robotic. Not when he bled for the kingdom to protect her. Logically, Zelda also knew that, had Sir Link been a robot programmed to protect her, he still wouldn’t have hesitated to jump in front of her, but she was certain that her knight was human, no matter how much he acted like he wasn’t.

Though, she’d be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy the fits of despair from both of them. Suguru acting like a tiny scrape would bring the infallible Satoru to his knees, cripple the man forever, leave him a shell of his former being, was incredibly amusing to her.
Because it wasn’t a scrape that would do it. It was Ieiri Shoko herself.
Ieiri deserves a break.

The technique of a sorcerer stains itself into their very skin with trails of swirling ink, images crafted to fit their very soul, the external tale of the internal curse.
Always ever changing with every curse Suguru consumed, Satoru only ever had a moment to memorize the fleeting patterns he got to catch a glimpse of, whenever they had a moment to themselves.
Satoru was never quite able to let Suguru's go. Satoru has never been very good at letting anything go.
(Or, the phrase ‘cursed techniques are engraved into the body’ is a little more literal than originally intended.)

“Be quiet!” Inumaki-senpai finally shrieks, the powerful wash of his voice flaring around the car’s tiny space like a gong. Immediately, the idiots both choke, words forcibly cut off as their vocal chords silence.
