Summary
Zhuo Yichen looks for the fragment of Zhao Yuanzhou’s soul for decades, determined to bring him back to life. He finds Li Lun instead and they become very reluctant travel companions in the search for Zhao Yuanzhou.
But Zhao Yuanzhou isn’t contented to merely being found and nothing is ever simple when it comes to this trio.
“I will stop you! Don’t you dare bully our village elders!” Zhu Yan declared, rounding upon Li Lun and Zhuo Yichen. Then he froze, his eyes widening and his mouth dropping open slightly. “Oh. Oh. You’re. Oh. Wow.”
The village elders immediately stepped in front of Zhu Yan instead, their hands held up as if to ward off Li Lun and Zhuo Yichen.
“He’s just a child, he doesn’t know anything. Please, just leave,” Cheng Li said desperately.
“Grandpa, I’m not a child! And you don’t have to plea with them, I can definitely fight off these very handsome men!” Zhu Yan said, although his voice lacked conviction now.

“Oh, excellent,” says Eoin, “I’ve always wanted to go to Paris for the first time so that I can meet my boyfriend’s ex.”

Of all the things to be asking after…
“It rained” Paddy says at last, “Monsoon rain, biblical, washed away the landscape entire. By the time I had a mind to go and look for him again everything had changed and there was no way to find him. I did look. I did look for him. I swear it”
Paddy looks up to find Ambrose smiling a private smile and nodding like he’s hearing voices Paddy can not.
"Rain might just be enough" Ambrose says, seeming pleased with the answer "Rain and the saltwater of tears”Or: Eoin comes back.
