“No, please go on,” comes Conner’s voice, suave and disgustingly amused. He leans forward, elbows propped up on his knees. He gives Tim a devilish look as he adds, “Tim’s never mentioned his little celebrity crush on Superboy before.”
“Oh, really? You know,” Bernard lowers his voice to a conspiratorial whisper, “Tim once asked me to wear a replica Superboy suit in bed with—”
“NO–” Tim shrieks, but his shout doesn’t cover the horrific, humiliating truth that has just been unveiled. He doesn’t give himself time to gauge his friends’ reactions to the news before he makes a clumsy beeline for the kitchen.
