I lived with this hunger long before the Hail Mary. This is nothing new. I’m fine.
Right up until Rocky asks another question.
“When last time you touch other human person skin, question?”
Oh. Oh no. “When I… a few days after I first woke up here.”
Rocky starts to relax for a split second, but then tightens when something occurs to him.
“Grace crewmates dead when you wake up. You said this, statement. You not even know your own name, remember nothing, see dead bodies, confirm?”
I nod, because if I open my mouth I will gag.
“When last time Grace touch ALIVE human person, question.”
I swallow thickly. I don’t answer aloud because I know Rocky can hear the hitch in my breath. My stomach churns with fresh bile. He senses my vital signs tick over into stress patterns and goes very, very still again.
“Grace. When last time, question.”
I clench my jaw so hard my temples ache, and beg him with my eyes to just stop.
“Grace. Please say not when… when Evil Stratt humans put you to sleep.”
I can taste grass.

Summary
In this AU, inspired by the work Where the Morning Star Fell, Lucifer has mysteriously developed bipolar disorder at some unknown time before a suicide attempt in February 2018. Linda, in her capacity as a psychiatrist; Amenadiel; and Michael, who has been secretly working as a surgeon in Los Angeles for two years after being abruptly dismissed from his Heavenly duties by God, work to settle him and make sense of how an archangel could have seemingly suddenly developed this while multiple stressors bloom around them, threatening Lucifer's stability and what's left of Michael's blind faith in their Father.

This is a comprehensive guide to the series 'Sequelae of the fall and various other curses' which started in August 2025 and is complete but was posted in a very haphazard order because of random ideas popping up. It also includes a guide to 'Life s/p replantation', the AU of the AU.
In this AU, Lucifer has mysteriously developed the celestial curse of a human malady at some unknown time before a suicide attempt in February 2018. Linda, in her capacity as a psychiatrist, and Michael, who has been secretly working as a surgeon in Los Angeles for two years after being abruptly dismissed from his Heavenly duties by God in December 2015, work to settle him and make sense of how an archangel could have seemingly suddenly been saddled with this curse while multiple stressors bloom around them, threatening Lucifer's stability and what's left of Michael's blind faith in their Father. As time passes, it becomes apparent that Michael is also deeply affected by their Father's treatment of him, and it becomes a massive problem.
The first two chapters are guides for the two series, and the chapters thereafter are biographies for the characters in the AU.
