It means he really can take a swan dive off a roof and hope for better luck in his next life. It means that all along, he’s been useless and worthless because he hasn’t died yet.

    Izuku is five years old the first time he's saved by heroes. He's an instant fan of the woman in pink with her cheerful smile and the man with his ice powers and fine-boned features, even if they both refuse to tell him their names.

    For most of his life, Izuku has been the centre of villain attacks, but he has never been injured. Every time, he's saved by bright, unknown heroes—heroes who smile at Izuku, and ruffle his hair or ply him with hugs, and seem mesmerised by how small he is.

    Heroes that the rest of the world doesn't believe exists.

    Midoriya Izuku doesn't want to die. But he decides to die anyways, because what would the death of one insignificant boy do? Maybe along the way, he'll change his mind. Or maybe it'll be too late to stop, too late to realize the weight of what he'd done. But maybe he'll learn to love along the way.

    Ok, so funny story; I completely lost interest in mha (for the time being, I always come back to it at some point), so this is on hiatus for a while. I have NO CLUE when I'll get back to this, but when I do, I'll probably scrap it and restart it since I've gotten much better at writing since I made this. I will see you all soon! May or may not make some Stranger Things fics soon if/when i have time

    Midoriya Izuku disappears on a sunny day in April. He simply never comes home from school one day. The police find only a single lead: his backpack and notebook on the roof of a building way off from his normal route. His notebook contains All Might‘s signature, proving the Number One Hero was the last to see him alive. But even with his help, it’s as though Izuku vanished into thin air.

    Five months later, he washes up in Okinawa.
    He isn’t the same.
