Summary
Lan Zhan and Wei Ying have a bet to see who gets more arrests in the precinct. If Lan Zhan loses, he has to go on a date with him, and do all horrible stuff Wei Ying thinks he hates doing.
He's not gonna lose, though. He's two arrests ahead, and Wei Ying only has 10 minutes to go. This win is his.
And then Wei Ying comes out of the captain's office, looking smug, and Lan Zhan's heart drops.
Oh no.-
Brooklyn 99 fusion where Wei Ying is Peralta and Lan Zhan is Amy, in the episode where Amy loses the bet and they go on a fake date.

“Hey, Lan Zhan...” Wei Wuxian unfolds his leg and gives his foot a playful kick. “I told you to think about it! This means I’d be here for a long time, taking up your time, your space, your peace. And I can’t pay you! I have nothing of worth to give. It isn’t as simple as-”
“I’ll do it,” he says again, more forcefully this time. “You don’t have to give me anything.”
Wei Wuxian looks away, hiding a small smile. Doesn’t he know Lan Wangji would do anything for him, by now? Doesn’t he understand that he holds Lan Wangji’s life in his hands?

“I am still glad,” Lan Wangji said, shrinking into himself. “That you still wish to be near me after the ways in which you have seen me.”
“You’re ridiculous.” Wei Wuxian burned to reach over and touch his flushed face, hoping that the feel of his skin might ease some of the ache in his soul. “I already told you that nothing can change the way I feel about you.”
During the uprising that brought down the Lan Dynasty, Wei Wuxian made a huge mistake: instead of saving the Second Prince of Lan, he delivered him straight into the phoenix’s flames.
Years later, stripped of rank and reduced to guarding a palace courtesan, he discovers that the courtesan is actually Lan Wangji, alive against all odds.
Wei Wuxian isn't sure what to do with a second chance, only that he doesn't want to waste it. Lan Wangji, meanwhile, can't stop flinching when he gets too close.

Lan Zhan's brother draws to a halt next to him, staring at the man on the other side of the counter. "Oh, it is you, isn't it?"
The man, still propped against the counter on his elbow, gives Lan Huan a grin, then directs it at Lan Zhan again. "I don't know," he says. "Is it? Am I?"
"You are." Lan Huan is hurrying around to the other side of the counter, a wide smile on his face, while Lan Zhan looks on, feeling more and more perplexed, like he's stepped into some alternate universe where absolutely nobody is making any sense at all. "Wei Wuxian! Lan Zhan, do you know who this is? It's Wei Wuxian!" Lan Huan is reaching for the man's hand, and he pushes himself lazily to standing, shaking Lan Huan's hand warmly.
"In the flesh," he says. "You caught me."
"My goodness." Lan Huan is staring at him like he's never seen a human being before in his life. "What on earth are you doing here, of all places?

Lan Zhan is jostled slightly and he turns in his seat to see a harried-looking man squeezing in next to him. There isn't an empty seat there, and the bar is quite crowded. "Sorry," the man says, sounding out of breath. "I know I'm all up in your business, I'll move, I promise, I just—" He blows his breath out. "I'm going to lose this seat next to you, that dude over there has been eyeing it, and it's mine as soon as this guy leaves."
