Summary
"That's—Nancy, that's where we broadcast—"
"I don't care." Nancy was already moving toward it, pulling Robin with her, and Robin went because apparently she would follow Nancy Wheeler anywhere, even into bad decisions.
OR: Nancy has a thing about guns. Robin has a thing about Nancy. The math does itself.

Summary
Nancy stared at her, her expression shifted. Not angry. Not hurt. Focused. Eerily similar to her I'm gonna commit a crime face. “Robin.”
“Nancy?” Robin tilted her head. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Nancy stepped closer. Close enough that Robin’s back brushed the edge of the desk behind her. Then her hands fell to Robin's hips, keeping her in place,
“Robin Buckley,” Nancy deliberately tipped her head up so their gazes were locked, “I underestimated how catastrophically bad you're at social cues.”
Robin huffed. “Rude, I told you I was.”
“Look at me.”
Robin did. She always did when Nancy asked like that.
“We have been dating,” Nancy said slowly, enunciating every word, “for nearly six months.”
Or,
Steve is needling Robin into finally landing herself a girlfriend—both unaware she already has one at home.

Summary
"Did you know that technically the term 'stitches' is actually 'suturing'? Which comes from the Latin sutura which means seam, like in sewing, which makes sense because that's basically what we're doing, sewing you up, like a quilt, you're a Nancy quilt—that sounded better in my head—"
"Keep talking," Nancy said.
OR: Nancy gets clawed by a demo-dog and insists Robin stitch her up instead of Steve.

Summary
Robin reaches for her. She slides a tentative hand towards her, palm up, knuckles skimming over Nancy’s thigh, the tips of her fingers twitching ever so slightly.
Nancy stares. And stares.
She wants to tell Robin, don’t offer your hand to me. If I hold it now, I might never let go.
She wants to tell herself, religion has taught you to be merciful. So be that. Let her go. Don’t take her hand when you might rip it clean off.
or: Robin is Nancy’s safe place.
