“Did you miss me?” Aang says, interrupting the lull that had become the shower against tile and faint R&B music. His fingers massage her scalp, and Katara sighs, relaxing further into him.
It’s easy being honest when she’s already in a vulnerable state. “Yes. I really looked forward to doing nothing with you today, you know?”
Aang’s fingers slow into gentle circles. “I know. You can blame your brother, though.” His fingers stop, and his hands slide down her back before he loops his arms around her waist, bending down until he’s near her ear. “I was thinking about you all day.”

Vi comes to a stop in front of a portrait of a woman standing with her back to the viewer, only half of her face visible over her shoulder. There is a hunting rifle in her hand, and a proud arch in her spine. There’s something about the woman’s expression that Vi can’t look away from–it’s soft, almost curious, but there’s an undeniable sharpness in her eye, like she’s staring right into Vi’s soul.
She’s also, at least from what Vi can tell by the angle of the portrait, exactly Vi’s type.
“Well, hey there, handsome,” Vi says under her breath.
“Good afternoon.”

But Aang was more than happy to reassure her. After all, they had gotten this far in their lives together— he wasn’t going to give up on her now.

“Hi?” said the Water Tribe boy, clearly unsettled.
“Hi.”
“Can I ask you a question?” Zuko said. The Water Tribe boy smirked at him.
“You just did,” he said sarcastically. Zuko didn’t bother giving that a response, just staring at the boy. He unsettled the members of this group, he knew that. Hopefully, it’d keep them from messing with him too much.
It worked on the boy, who cleared his throat, uncomfortable at the silence. “Sure. What’s your question?”
“Why is the Avatar doing dishes?”
