What is a god without it's followers? When the faithful are gone, what happens to the gods who sit on the throne above everyone else? The gods believe themselves powerful and all knowing, but without anyone kneeling beneath the throne.. doesn't the throne become meaningless?
Summoned to Teyvat as infants, Aether and Lumine were raised by Khaenri'ah's Eclipse Dynasty to become weapons capable of challenging the heavens themselves. But when the ritual meant to turn them into vessels of the Abyss triggered the Cataclysm instead, the twins vanished into a five hundred year slumber. Awakening in Snezhnaya, they are taken in by the House of the Hearth, as ordered by the Tsaritsa after realising that they are the last remnants of Khaenri'ah, and may just be the key in bringing celestia down.
