“Who the hell are you?” Megumi growled from a distance, over the roar of the engines and the chatter of the crowd.
Immediately, the buzz died down. All eyes turned to the newcomer, the crowd holding its breath as silence descended like a heavy curtain over the garage. Only the beating of hearts and the faint hiss of still-warm tires broke that unreal moment.
Yuuji inhaled. He suspected this guy had a huge ego, but yelling at him like that was something he would never let slide. He raised his gaze, meeting Megumi’s fury-filled eyes. With a half-smirk, a hint of defiance in his voice, he replied, “My name’s Yuuji Itadori, and I’m the one who’s going to take your throne.”
Or, Megumi Fushiguro, the undisputed Drift King, is challenged by Yuuji Itadori, who aims to snatch his crown and take control over Shibuya.

A shiver ran through him as he thought about how long it had been since someone had made him feel desired. He ran a hand through his raven-black hair, uncertain.
“You still haven’t told me your name.”
Megumi brought his thumb to his lips, biting the well-kept nail. “Why do you want to know my name?”
The answer came immediately, slowly, insinuating. “Because I want to know who I’m looking at.”Or, the Shibuya Killer has identified his new victim, Megumi Fushiguro.

The burning pain is starting to come back again. It begins in his chest this time, slightly to the right. Yuuji swallows, reaching up to press his hand against it.
So, he thinks dazedly, as the universe begins to take him apart. This is what happens when you break a Binding Vow.

Megumi dies in Shinjuku. Yuuji is thrown back in time to save him. Again, and again, and again.

Yuuji stilled for a moment, then, as if realisation had finally dawned upon him of his boyfriend’s horrid mood, he wrapped his arms around Megumi’s frame and pushed his face deeper into the crook of his neck, clearly disregarding social etiquette and courtesy.
Megumi swallowed hard and wished the butterflies in his tummy could be exterminated with some industrial strength poison.
“Oh,” Yuuji said cheekily against the warm skin of Megumi’s neck. “So that’s how it is.”
Megumi continued ignoring him with the commitment of a monk.
Yuuji, unfortunately, was not a monk.
Yuuji was a menace.

Somehow Megumi had managed to remove the cum stains and make the damn thing look presentable, but no amount of washing could remove the Pavlovian response of Yuuji’s body to the dress in which he took Megumi’s innocence.
