“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Teru says, and the roll of tape makes a violently loud crrrrrk noise as he pulls out a strip of it. But he does know what Aoi is talking about, because he’s been saying the same thing over and over again ever since the accident happened.
“You don’t use tape for broken glass,” Aoi tells him again, which is easy for him to say when he’s standing six feet off, which is well away from the disaster zone radius.
“I found a broom,” Akane says as she pads back into the room.

Rin gets sick. She'd like to take care of this by curling up and waiting to either get better or die in the solitude of her apartment; her teammates have a different idea for how she should be treated. Their insistence on coddling her might be touching if they were doing it for Rin, and not the person they thought she was.
For Rin, this kind of gentleness is the most unbearable cruelty of all.

In a world where people's wings are feathered by being loved, the only things poking out of Rin's back are bare and fleshy sticks, devoid of any indication of affection directed towards her. It's a strange and unfortunate condition, but not proof of a lack of love- how could it be, when there are so many people so infatuated with her?

“...Minato-sensei?” Kakashi asks, because even though he doesn’t know who Rin could be referring to besides him, it just seems so weird for her to be so rude to him.
“Yes,” Rin says, her eyes darting to Kakashi. “Like musty cheese.”
or: Rin’s odd dislike of Minato after he makes Hokage is either a sign that she’s finally snapped, or a sign of trust. Kakashi’s still deciding which.
