Summary
The last battle goes very poorly for Harry and his friends. Left tortured and half-mad, Harry is betrayed by the Ministry and exiled to another world. He is captured by Thranduil and the Woodland Elves, at first as an oddity and then as a Being to be protected, revered and kept secret and hidden from the rest of the world. It takes Harry a very long time to realize that he is so well protected that he isn't ever allowed to leave.

Summary
As the war concludes she is alone. She has always been alone, Death as her only true companion. Dahlia Potter has not lived a long life, nor a particularly good one. All those she has ever cared for have died or betrayed her. Her dying wish is to return to those that had once truly loved her. Alas, each soul only has once chance to travel across the Veil of Death, and she had wasted that chance on this that did not deserve her loyalty.
Death, however has different plans. They are most displeased with how their little witch has been treated by the Wizarding World, and decides that they would give their Mistress the life they deserve even if that life is in a completely different realm, and as a completely different race. Is it possible for this tortured soul to heal, to learn trust, to learn love and care can be reciprocated? And will she recognise the one her soul sings for, and can she bring herself to trust him with her heart when the time comes?
The only ting that can truly be known is that those that return to life are needed to ensure that evil can be thwarted no matter the realm.Series

Summary
She hadn't understood what uniting the Hallows would truly mean when she'd read her grandfather's private journal from of the Second Blood War. She'd only done it because she seemed to be sharing a similar Fate to him. She'd wanted to understand, wanted any advantage to be had. Of course, she didn't realize that by uniting them she would be the cause of his death, after a fashion.
She really hadn't expected to be snatched from her world, instead of coming back from death in her own as her grandfather had done.
She certainly hadn't expected to essentially be remade as some sort of angelic spirit-being, made kin to those who had Sung this new world into existence.
She resented the Lord of Death, called Námo, for quite a lot. There was darkness in this new world that was both like and unalike to her homeworld.
But at least he'd had the decency to teach her what she needed to know since he'd claimed her.
Still, she didn't think she would go around telling anyone she was actually Death's Herald. It sounded terrible, really, even if it truly wasn't. A small part of her understood the Vala's desire to have a Herald of his own, like his brother Vala did.

Summary
Cedric’s death had been the trigger, but the Ministry’s denial of Voldemort’s return, being sent back to the Dursleys while seemingly being cut off from his loved ones, and his name being slandered by Rita Skeeter and her libellous quill start to take their toll.
Dementors suddenly attacking Number 4 Privet Drive is the last straw.
Convinced that someone is trying to kill him, Harry Potter leaves the Dursleys to their untimely fate, and flies off into the night on his broomstick.
While on the run, he accidentally stumbles across a mysterious portal. Unsure of what lies beyond, but seeing no hope in magical Britain, Harry takes his chances and steps through the portal.
Unfortunately, he could not have foreseen how his impulsive decision ultimately results in trading one fate for something similar.
